Data Records
The data in this sampling event resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 117 records.
1 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.
- Event (core)
- Occurrence
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Sampling Methods
We used line transect method to investigate species composition and individual quantity of birds in Xinjizhou National Wetland Park.
Study Extent | The Xinjizhou National Wetland Park birds survey was conducted monthly from March 2021 to February 2022,and the scope of this survey is: 31.78N to 31.93N Latitude; 118.48E to 118.59E Longtitude. |

Method step description:
- A total of 10 survey transits were set up in Xinjizhou National Wetland Park according to the beach area, habitat and accessibility. The length of the transits ranged from 1.0 to 3.5km, covering all habitat types in the wetland park. From March 2021 to February 2022, a monthly bird survey was carried out on each of the 10 lines with binoculars (Shuntu 339FT 10*42) and a monoculars (Swarovski ATS 20*60) to record the species of birds observed, and the number of birds was recorded by direct counting method.
