"BioONE(Biodiversity and Bio-Security, https://www.bio-one.org.cn/ ) is a sub-project of "Big Earth Data Science Project" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. With the goal of building the most authoritative comprehensive information platform for China's biodiversity and ecological security at home and abroad, it comprehensively integrates biological and ecological information resources at home and abroad to form a multi-disciplinary and unique biodiversity open big data platform in the fields of paleontology, genetics, omics, species, ecology and environment. It supports scientific discovery, macro decision-making and social services. Relying on the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, bioONE has five topics: "Construction and Application of Comprehensive Database of Paleontology and Paleoenvironment", "Species Diversity Information Platform", "Comprehensive Data Platform and Service System of Biological Genetic Resources", "Vegetation Remote Sensing and Biodiversity Change" and "Ecosystem Change and Ecological Security Pattern".
